mixukagure castle, IMVU looks a lot like Seocnd Life
I guess virtual castles are likely to be popular in most virtual realities. From Blizzards through Second Life Gor to IMVU. Two amazing observations about IMVU:
1. It is a very cheap low quality effort to copy Second Life.
2. It is vastly more popular than Second Life, when I logged in, as you can see, over 180,000 people were online. These kinds of numbers just never happen in SL but are common in IMVU
Now 200,000 people is not really a big group by today's Internet standards, but IMVU has managed to get an audience of this size when the vastly superior technically Second Life can not. This probably has to do with what I might call Hookers Law of Virtual Reality: The more likely someone is to have the time and inclination to spent hours cheating in a virtual dungeon the less likely they are to be able to afford a graphics card. I mean IMVU has solved the lag problem.
