'Discovery of a Possibly Earthlike Planet - Gliese581g' 10 am SLT!!

'Discovery of a Possibly Earthlike Planet - Gliese581g'
Dr. Rob Knop, QuestUniversity Canada

" In the last few weeks, you've probably heard news about
the discovery of an Earthlike planet in a nearby star
system. In this talk, I'll give a brief summary of what
we know about planets outside the solar system, and tell
you more about what it is that we really know about this
planet and its star. I'll also try to deflate a little
bit of the overstated hype that has shown up in the news
media in the excitement over this discovery."
