Big Trouble in Little Second LIfe: Second Life in word population is not growing

Second Life in word population is not growing. 34,000 is essentially not a city, its a small town or a medium sized University campus. The company I work with has more staff than this in the United Kingdom alone.

Second Life is in a strange limbo, there are always people inworld, the numbers are not going down or up very much. Its a fixed population. Considering a web site with 10,000s on interacting at the same time is not bad, but I was expecting there would be a million in world at once by now. Second Life has hit a brick wall.
