Clubs of all kind, that play music and draw set "identities" are popular in Second Life. That does seem to make perfect sense since it works on Second Life Web 4.0 strengths. It consolidates various channels of information from by real and virtual worlds like digital radio, IM, images, and graphic art and design. It provides a place for communities to form, as with this Rave with about a half dozen Germans. And, like real clubs, it gives a place for people to see and their designs to be seen.

This kind of cultural activity that stresses creativity and fun I think will continue to grow in Second Life and on the virtual web in general, ultimately outdoing RP by a very wide margin.
