Failure

Empty stores for rent in Second Life, such a common site that it is hard to believe that people used to be concerned about virtual world addiction. All the evidence I have seen is that people generally don't find spending time in virtual reality has highly addictive. That most player who spend long hours on it work from home and have SL turned on in the background as they work. Some players go through early extreme periods of play, but it is more curiosity than addiction.

About Me

My Photo
I have really strong opinions about silly things that I can validate using the strongest social theory, like why you should not watch Sex in the City or how the Simpsons promotes democracy.
