Though it is not precisely boom time and I don't think anyone is getting rich selling in SL, it is interesting to see that the businesses that were all suppose to go bust last year are not all gone. In fact in places like Caledon a dedicated Steampunk community is probably more likely to see it through, since people work as much, if not more, for identity and fun than profit.
