A floating city

Armada Breakaway Open Sea

This place looks really cool, but like so much of Second Life there is the "so what" issue. It looks great but so what are we suppose to do with it? An entire new world is being built, lets hope the explored come to find it before the servers are wiped clean.

I've seen you make these sorts of observations before about sims in SL. This particular sim looks like a dandy. It would take me at least 45+ minutes to explore. I would be looking at textures, prim work, I'd be taking snaps, experimenting with Windlight, wondering what the inspiration/story is behind it's creation. These are the measurements I use before I say "So what". What are yours?

Well Krissy if I gave every SIM the time it deserves I would not get much exploration done. My goal is to see all of SL so by necessity I have to see it kind of fast.

I think first impressions are very important for a new media. People decide in the first few seconds if they are going to stay or not. I do take a great deal of liberty with my first impressions, but these are the logs of a explorer rapidly moving through a space as an endless tourist and not an anthropologist
