Exploring OSGrid as it evolves gives a unique opportunity to see what elements of Second Life's structure are created by the technology or user community vs. what element sare produced by the Capitalist forces at work in SL and not OSGrid.
If in a few years we see an OSGrid and looks and feels a great deal like SL yet does not a have business making presence we can conclude that market forces alone are not shaping the nature of SL. If OSGrid looks very different from SL it will indicate that the nature of VRs going forward could be entirely the economic models they adopt and not the technology or user population.
