ASU Virtual Campus

This is the virtual campus for Arkansas State University. In this weeks UK Wired Glen Newey makes an argument for the value of Virtual education growth over more reliance on traditional Universities. Personally I don't buy a word of it, I don't see the main purpose of virtual spaces a replacement or alternatives but augmentations.

If Virtual Reality becomes the competition to real reality then both will suffer. The Internet, and the 3-D Internet should in time augment and extend our experiences of social reality not replace them. Thought to be fair to Glen Newey his piece is to short for me to be certain that this is his point.
