Sims become isolated along linguistic lines, and French speakers tend to have their own reality in Second Life, as do people who speak Japanese, Spanish or Portuguese. Only English seems to provide a public space where all citizens of SL can come.

Les GAULOIS "Parc Francophone d'Attractions Gratuites" is a fairly bland typical Second Life world. I have to say that overall SIMS quality is tending to improve after a collapse in ads and smiley faces a few years ago. Its been a while since I have seen a smiley.
