Gor is very important to imaging the society of Second Life. Gor is one of the largest, most active, and most creative community and a large number of SL players, admit it or not, have had some involvement with Gor.

Oddly such a cult is around a series of books that you can't find in bookstores. Its like Gor was written by John Norman for Second Life.

Gor is popular because it contains so much sex and domination, but it is my experience that there is a great deal of talk about sex and domination and very little activity. Still the motivation of sexuality leads to some great work, as I have blogged about before.
