Virtual world created nuanced realities, the above Alhambra is based on an older version of the space whereas the Google earth version below comes from the modern structure. The Google maps model is located in a photo sphere of the planet, whereas the Second Life has a beach in the background. The big difference is people can participate in the Second Life version. Google can provide directions and location data but the avatar has to be your own body.
