The economy

MIRONE studio

The economy is taking a bite out of Second Life. SL was already over hyped and over developed in 2007, but like the overall US economy. Now the collapse in RL is far far worse in a world were property values were just for imagined pieces of computer space. A SL SIM was never really worth more than the cost of running one server in an open source environment on a SAN VMWare host. This is far less than property was going for.

About Me

My Photo
I have really strong opinions about silly things that I can validate using the strongest social theory, like why you should not watch Sex in the City or how the Simpsons promotes democracy.
