Key books of value

In my study of Culture and of Second Life there are some books of unusal value I find useful. None of them were written about Second Life.

This group includes both radical thinkers cover 200 years, advanced technologist, Lacan and Lasch and the off the wall but interesting Ray Kurzweil . I reference these books again and again.
