The Skin Market

Everything in Second Life is a commodity including your space and skin colour along with clothing. Here you can buy the shape and skin you want. Saddly I have noticed a trend in which everyone tends to fixed gender expressions. These shapes, skins and clothing are the pretty typical style that you see a greater and greater majority of people becoming.

It is my distinct opinion that as SL grows and has more people, you see less and less diversity of identity formation. For men this hulky, buffed, facial hair and medium flowing hair with trendy casual is repeated over and over again.

Conformity does not need power to exist.
