This is the form someone has elected to enter the Second Life community space as.
I often think of Iain M. Bank's Culture when I go to Second Life, how he presents a civilization where anyone can become what ever they want when ever they want. Still classic forms of gender and humanity assert themselves in Bank's Culture, as they do in Second Life. But this "cloud" AV reminds me of Donna Harraway's Cyborg Manifesto, promosing new areas of self construction. This shape can be formed in to anything. But it also plays to a myth of pure spirit, often shown in Star Trek of the next step of evolution involving humans being pure energy.
