Second Life client on openSolaris

For the record, if anyone wanders if the Linux SL client will run on openSolaris the answer is no.

I have tested the Linux Client from SL on Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE, Mandriva, Knoppix, and Fedora. It runs on all of these in both Gnome and KDE. The problem is that Linux has a poor record with the kind of shit ATI Radeon Dell crammed in my box. Right now with the economy I am not rushing to buy a high end graphic cards to work with Linux when I have a couple Windows Machines in the house. So if you don't have a graphics on your Linux worked out you will have a slow poor rez on any Linux machine.

The sad reality is that the Linux SL experience is so much more demanding and difficult than the Windows and Mac experience. Oh well.
